Title: Registering Imported motor cycles in new south wales
Post by: paco on December 17, 2011, 07:46:15 am
As of monday;19/12/2011 the rules for registering an imported motor cycle in new south wales changes.I am including an email I got this morning from a person I was going to swap my Imported bike to.Hi Paul,

I have spent the last few days doing my homework, all regulations change in NSW on monday 19/12/11 for registering modified/orignal imports.  The cost is outstanding to have the engineers ADR report, including stationary noise test, exhaust emmissions test etc. So due to this and also the fact there is now no engineer near our area anymore (he opted out from monday, knowing the new regualtions) it is financially impossible for us to register your bike.

Very dissapointed, and sorry for any inconvenience to you.  My wife wouldve enjoyed riding your bike around, and we wouldve shared her Buell...

Thanks

Col
