I seem to be full of dumb questions today! so here goes
How realistic / difficult to convert an RM465Z to a front disc brake?
I have spent a $1K on rebuilding the original forks so would like to avoid NOT using them. The Clymer manual has the same fork diagram across pretty much all floater models so does the 83 RM500 use the same forks with just a bracket for the callipers, if so Is it realistic to simply have a bracket welded to the 465 model
Will the 83 500 front wheel simply fit the 465
Am I dreaming??
Cheers

1983 and 84 rm500 had drum front brake as well. 85 had disc but they were few and far between

Noticed at CD8 that there were a few guys riding around on RM 500 83 84 models with
a whole new conventional front end with a disk brake.
Looked to me that it was off a later 86 to 88 model suzuki or honda but they do look
pretty cool . :)

there are more 1985 rm125 and rm250s around the front end
slips straight in just need heavier springs for 125 250 would be ok
depends if you are a porker or not
like they said suzuki didnt have disc until 1985 ;)
