In Japanese Speedway (autorace) no Godden / Weslake / Jawa / GM / Jap, but mostly Japanese engines.
Today only the Suzuki AR600 and AR500 twin Cylinders, but in the past HKS / Toyo / Meguro / Kyokuto / Triumph / BSA / Eicoh.
But further back also about more then 20 different machines from very small Honda's with 150cc, and very bigs ones like the Rikuo with 1216cc

If anyone has a copy of On Any Sunday 2 (That really average sequel of the the original), there is a short segment about Japanese speedway . . interesting stuff. In a previous life i travelled to Japan quite regularly and went to a meeting with some guys from the Suzuki factory . . . the racing was boring as bat shit but the machinery was interesting but the most interesting aspects of Jap speedway is the betting, it was just like a day at Randwick.

Different stuff thats for sure, l watched it once on fox and the weirdest thing is that the crowd are totally silent until they cross the finish line then they go nut's, dont no about riding one of those bike's, l dont like it if my handlebars are even slightly bent. :-\
