Need to find front and rear guards plus lights to complete my Montessa. thanks Mark

As much as it pains me to suggest them, you might want to try Solomontesa for such items (being enduro). After-market plastic mobs do have the guards but you'll have to hunt them out.

Thanks for that.

Hi Mark you can always use Preston Petty Lights and guards. Obviously not Montesa but do look "period" I have some that I'm putting on my Frontera. If you want to drive up the road for 5 minutes you more than welcome to have a look. Jerry PS good to see you decided to the Monty up to scratch, Do you realise there's a Vinduro at the end of Jan at Castella?

I have a NOS rear light and rubber mount for the light and rego plate if you are interested.
I also have a handlebar light switch if it is the square box type with chrome cover
Does that model have the head light and front number plate all as one? If not then I also have a NOS headlight assembly.
The front and rear guards are available from DC plastics in the translucent white as the guards are the same as the VA250 from '76. From memory the rear was just the MX guard with holes drilled for the tail light rubber belt mount assembly.
I also have NOS complete silencer/baffle for the pipe including the dome at the end.
I also should have a NOS or near new speedo but I'm not sure which type that bike had. The Enduros around that time all seemed to arrive with different styles of stuff on them.
Also have other stuff like NOS airbox.
Anyway PM me if you are interested

..........or try Montynut. :D

Got a headlight/number plate (ebay), thanks for that Greg. Still need the tail light /rubber mount. Also the following,.. bashplate, speedo and side panels. The side panels i have don't seem to be original. I can get new ones made if i can locate/borrow originals for a pattern. Last but not least,... the rear shocks are konis and measure 320 mm center to center. This seems pretty short as the bike sits low at the back. It looks like its draggin' its arse. I'm 6' 4" and 86kg so i would like to lift it a bit by using longer/heavier shocks. What do you blokes reckon? Any advice/help would be great.
Thanks, Mark p.s.montesa h6 enduro 250 54m 5904
