Title: bigpond email down

Are any other Bigpond email customers experiencing a service outage? I've been without email for at least 12 hours which is a bit of a pain in the arse this morning. My apologies to the two forum members to whom I owe emails.....hopefully we'll soon be back on deck.

My wife has been hassling me to sort her bigpond email since she couldn't log on last night so I guess it's got the NT as well

I just checked the bigpond home page and there's a short non commital paragraph saying there is an "internal system problem"

Yep, same in the great southland.     It's been buggering about for the last two days, but seems to be working OK this morning.      Can't complain about the Bigpond service down here, too frequently there isn't any  ;D.

Just announced on the ABC mid day news - Telstra has pulled the plug on most of the bigpond services due to a security problem.      Expected to return to normal later this afternoon.

my isp is telstra and it is very slow my emails including web mail has not been working since 10.30pm last night but the internet access never stopped but it is slower.i use it to work at home on the weekends to log no to work it was just ok

Ahem . you guys might consider changing your Bigpond passwords.
Apparently they accidently hooked their security web page up to the net , advertising all your details to the world .[ passwords included ]

has bigpond got something to do with netbank as could not transfer money yesterday ?
