Guys
What can you tell me about these reed spacer kits. Do they actually improve low to mid range or are they another Brocky "Energy Polariser"?

Depends where you place the spacer, between the reed and the cylinder will push the peak power upwards between the reed and the manifold probably bring the peak downwards, but for the length or volume it adds there is not going to be much in it. If it were placed between the reed and manifold it would ruin what the stuffers do.

If it went between the reed cage & the cylinder it would do the opposite to what the stuffers do, lowering crankcase compression.

Case compression and the job of reed stuffers are 2 different things.

Surely it would depend upon what style of induction the bike had.
On a full case reed engine, placed between the crankcase the the reed valve it would increase the crankcase volume marginally.
But on a normal reed valve cylinder it would only vary the volume and length of the intact tract.
Certainly not a universal panacea, from memory certain bikes responded favourably, while on others it made no difference.

If it was a cylinder reed and was placed between cylinder and reed cage you still marginaly increase case volume. Your 100% correct that some engines respond better than others the ones that respond better are the more compromised designs.
