Looks like a normal old garden variety MX400B to me..

think there is a bit of DT in it, rubber pegs and is that a decomp?

ok you are close 509 is the 250 frame of mxb the motor is dt 400 . the dt rubber foot pegs will fit on the mx splines . I sent him a email sorry mate it's a bitsa its worth about 400 bucks .  :'(
