Hand on head starts! looks like old days at Moorebank! But whats the story of the dude lined up at the start wearing a suit? Definitely a pommie!
At least he took his tie off!
cheers

Pancho, that's the first thing I thought, racing at the MX track at Moorebank back in the early 70's. Were you a member of MMCC?
-
Is 1949 the right date or should it be 1959? Big two stroke over jump and telos and shocky rears are a bit ahead of their time I think or am I thinking of a parallel universe?.

Looks like The Suite man didnt get time to change ;D now thats dedication for you 8)
some cool old pics

Sure did PCMAX along with other Merrylands club mates I rode at Moorebank through the '60s and early 70s. My ACU number in those days was
883.
cheers pancho.

We use to have hand-on-helmet starts at some Frankston club days in the late '70's, early '80's;....... my poor gearbox didn't like getting stomped into gear without the clutch lol;..... always holeshot though :-)
