"MADE IN MEXICO WITH A ITALIAN SACHS ENGINE"
Er....no. He got the Made in Mexico bit right but the engine's also a Mexican made Moto Islo as Gippslander pointed out. Sachs is German not Italian although they're now Chinese owned.
"THIS BIKE IS VERY RARE AND YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER FOR SALE ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA"
Probably not right at this particular moment but they aren't that rare. I bought a motor off this forum only a few weeks ago.

All that aside, Cooper's are a good thing, more than competitive in pre '75. The engine's a lot like a DT1 Yamaha (only better) and the frame's very Maico like. The forks are the superior Mexican Betor's which are essentially Ceriani copies and different to Spanish Betors. Fit a Yamaha reed DT2MX or YZA/B top end (they bolt on) and you've got a serious racer that'll out handle any period Jap bike. 2K's a good price even though it's an enduro model. This forum's 'Head' successfully raced a very fast Cooper  a decade or so ago.

Close ratio gearbox and a low pipe. Different side number plates and that's about it from memory.
