Title: Betor triple clamps.
Post by: Curly3 on November 05, 2011, 10:14:02 pm
Is the headstock shaft screwed into or a shrink fit into the bottom triple clamp?
I need an extra 3mm to allow full thread on the top lock nut.
We all need a bit of extra length occasionally. :P

has a circlip approx 3mm in,i'd say press fit, looks like the later bottoms also clamped as per top triple, :P

Good to See you home safe Mick, lucky bastard.
My clamps are 35mm and don't appear to involve a circlip.

yep, justa nother lucky bastard ;D,push the stem down through the bottom triple, that will expose the circlip slidey, probably a good idea to convert the bottom to clamping same as top tree arrangement, :P

Are you making the stem longer ? if so keep us posted, i got some betors triples i wanted to put in a Champion frame but there too short, or it needs a longer stem.... but thats as far as i got with it.

Happy to steal your ideas when you have it sorted out.
