Holy moly Dave....I can see why that one hasn't ended up on eBay. What an astounding piece of industrial art that shemozzle is. I love rejuvenating shit heaps but that one's too much for my humble talents. :'(
-
Davey Crocket, I bought the Tm off Rossco, Dodgee can have it, if not, it will be going to the Tip.
-
Mark, it is repairable.
-

Ouch ! ;)
-
Geezus Dave, even the tips too good for that.....all the Suzuki lovers will be cringing over that.....I know TM's where never reguarded highly but whoever did that needs to be castrated....slowly.
-
Guy's you are looking at a piece of history here ..... seriously this could be a pre mock up of a Rm A
Dave was this the one that had the RH motor in ????
-
No, it had a Tm 250 engine in it. I think you are right in saying that they tried to mock up an RM.
-
Dogee only needed the front diamond for his progect , so id say he would jump a it

Fark what a mess... just attatch a chain it'll make a perfect anchor
-
Mark, it is repairable.
I suppose the Titanic's repairable too Dave...but jesus, whoever did those mods should by law be prevented from using a hacksaw or welder for life. Over the years I 've found many frames that were butchered in the vain attempt to 'modernise' the rear end during the '74/'75 suspension revolution but this is the absolute worst I've seen. Not only is the welding and pipe work on that 'conversion' beyond atrocious, the actual geometry of the changes are as wrong as you could ever get..easily seen by the stress bends in the gussets for the top shock mounts. It must have been a pig to ride (if it was ever used, that is). If all Dodgee needs is the front half I guess it'll do but surely anything would be better than that.
I've got a '75 TS frame that's pretty straight if you can use it Dodgee.

I think its been welded with a kids sparkler :)
-
I think you are being a bit harsh.
I have it on good authority that Stevie Wonder, himself, modified it as a Tech project back in the 70's. Luckily he then found music and left motorcycle fabrication behind forever...
-
I just looked at it again and I reckon a plumbers been there........how much alcohol do you think was involved there or was it weed man?.....a Cheech and Chong special....copied out of Dirt Bike magazine.....what more can I say?

As a self confessed conisuier no self respecting stoner would be responsible for that :o theres definetly alchohol involved in that project ;) Mind you i think Jeffs onto it :) a drunk Stevie Wonder ;D

I think it could be a piece of Modern Art. After some of the s..t I have seen that passes for modern art, I can at least relate to the struggle that this Artist went through . What he has done is not easy. It would take a massive amount of work to produce that end result. Maybe we need to set up a museum of modern art for vintage bike restorers. I know I have a couple of 'pieces' that didn't turn out the way I envisaged!!
-
Proto-type GMC frame?....when he was 3 years old?.....I know he has "lost" all sorts of objects in the dam, maybe this one was reincarnated....the TM devil lives......maybe he made it when the Exorsist came out.....you know what they say about those country Victorians. ;D
-
Think they were going for the early Works deal..... cheap 75 model close out into the Rm

The only problem making an anchor out of it would be having to lift it back into the boat again and again and seeing those welds over and over - errrrh i say leave the chain off it and help the world with a bit more of fish structure :-*
-
I think its been welded with a kids sparkler :)
Warning...do not read that quote when eating cerial :D
I'd cut the rear section off and add a removeable sub frame to it and its good as gold ;D
Where's your sense of adventure fellas
Plumber...no,he'd be out fishing in his gaylux and 50ft boat to mess with that.
Stevie...no,unless he can read the brail in those welds.
As an anchor it would kill our eco-system.
-
Stevie...no,unless he can read the brail in those welds.
I'm not so sure. I spoke to a friend who teaches blind kiddies to read Braille. He said he couldn't be sure without actually running his fingers over the welds, but he indicated that he is 99% sure it is "a cry for help".
He couldn't give me any more info, but he did say that the perpetrator was obviously a troubled soul who could by this time have worked his way into a CEO position in one of our major companies. I suggested Alan Joyce and he said I could be right as it is obvious that he has no ability to "see" reality.
I wonder...
