Title: bultaco ads
Post by: crankpin on October 30, 2011, 09:47:43 pm
Thought you might be interested to see these bully ads. I know the first one doesn't have a Bultaco in shot but girls butts and cigarettes don't get a look in anymore...

Doh! Now you've gone and done it Can Am >:(. el Presidente's flock get get very testy when a joke's made at the expense of the Lobito. I've learned my lesson and now concede that they're the greatest trail bike ever made, possibly the best thing to come out of Spain since General Franco :).

You're all going blind. The bike in the bottom pic where she is wearing a bullfighter's hat is nothing like any Lobito. Sad I know but I've had that particular ad as a screen saver for years (for some reason I love the look of that smoking chick). Come on Bultaco trainspotters, get it right. What is that bike?

Did your change of heart have anything to do with the threat of a personal inquisition?

every time I look at them I go kinda blank............ ::)

I get a pain in my left leg....

Mark,
Its good to see you have realised the error of your ways. :-[ Lucky for you I have three of these gems that I know you need to start your collection, prices start at one Qantas share. :D
El Pres sent himself into exile from the club about four years ago,he got word there was going to be a revolution, sold his bikes and went in search of Franco. ;D

Ridiculous ??? Engineers dividing time between hobbies one week and brake shoes the next :o :o.  Who could they be referring to....surely not a Swedish company with 12 world motocross championships up to the end of the 70's  ;D ;D Ah the ridiculousness of it all indeed  ::) ::) Where are the bikini babes...now that was classy :P

I think the 'smoking girl' Bultaco is a Sherpa S.I've owned a couple of 'em over the years and did my first ever race on one so they're a little bit special to me. ;)

I got you now Feetup Dave, I had to put on my reading specs and a magnifying glass to see you're right.
The lower bike is a Campera 175??
But I couldn't say it looks that much different, from a distance, to my Mk3 125 Lobby.

Q: Which bike do you think won the Mr VMX pre'75 over 50's?...through all that rain, mud & slush!
A: My '73 Mk6 325...miracle or what?
