Title: RM 465/500 VIN Plate

Hi everyone,

I saw on EBay in the States the other day someone doing repro VIN plates for an RM500. Was someone on here a while ago getting some made, or looking at getting some made? I have done a bit of a search, but I can't remember what the thread was. Anybody got any leads on where I could get a template to send to the sign man, or even if someone saw and saved the EBay auctions for the RM500 ones recently. If need be I can send this pic to him, but if someone has had a sign guy make one then the set up is already there.

I want to attach one to my recently restored RM465X. On the subject of RM's and after looking at lukeb's resource page, how can I work out what month my 465 was made with the VIN numbers?

Hi crankpin,
so far, no I haven't. I did find the EBay seller who had the 500 one's and asked if he could do 465 ones but that has gone nowhere :'(. Tmman, is this "tricity" person on here or on EBay? I would like to get one of these VIN plates to finish it off.

well its hard to get past that gif to reply. tricity was  evilbay seller.. you got me thinkin now,i could use some for my tm's. there only screen printed ally. leave it with me i.m pretty sure i can sort the problem.. i,ll get back you in a few days..

the ones on ebay are originals not repos he is a suzuki dealer,got an answer back a while ago ;)

Yep that,s them. Just with '81 and RM465 and with the correct numbers etc. on them.
