Bloody Hell, the things you find at the local brake centre! That's going to be a beautiful bike once finished...shit, it's gorgeous already. I love that he's gone with a leading link front end instead of the expected Cerianis or Betors. Does the bloke intend to race it or is it to be a show queen?

The VW wouldn't be yours would it mate ;D I spot the giveaway sign ;D

I thought sidecar but figured....nah, it's got to be a solo. I can't see any obvious chair mounts but what would I know about sidecars ???. It looks pretty good as a solo to me. ;D

Long time since I've seen a barrel like that on a J.A.P. I think last time was in a T.Q.

So as solo it would be fairly long  and turning corners  would be a big task . What ever it is , its nice .
Maybe it's for the Red Marley Hillclimb!

Don Newell has listed Wasp solo chassis available from him for a while. His add in VMX has them there.

Wal it looks to be an aftermarket Alfin barrel that were mainly used on Cooper F3 race cars in the fifties.

Yeah Mark, come to think of it maybe it was old MT. Druitt or Parramatta Park, or even Hawksbury hill climb car events.

Pretty tasty, it is going to be a giggle in a straight line and looks the dogs whatsits.

Something cool about leading link forks, bit like springers on a Harley.

The bikes a solo and it's not as long as it looks.

Maybe it's for the Red Marley Hillclimb!

That was the original intention.

Correct, this one has a nikasil liner.

I'll get some more images of the finished article next week.

I can ask the question but you know how touchy people can get on this subject...
