Title: Posting bitmap images

Does anyone have any tips on how to reduce the size of a bitmap image to allow it to be posted on the forum ? I have successfully posted jpg images ,after reducing the size by using the village photos website . But this method does not work with bitmap images .

Convert the bitmap file to a jpeg first. There are free programs to do this easily. try Download .com or google  bitmap to jpeg free program. cheers Tim

I think you'll find even Winows Paint will save a bitmap as jpeg.

um... look at the file click it in exporer, if your able to edit the file name you are in the right place, then delete the extention and retype  .jpeg

box come sup you say save and your done ? takes bout 2 seconds you lasy bums  ::)
