Title: SC500 engine/parts

Hi,
 
I am looking for a complete engine... or engine parts, eg cylinder barrel, piston etc.. for a 1973 Yamaha SC500 to restore.

You want the motor or the other parts to restore bike ?

I got a few motors, one is currently down to its shell.  PM me an offer and ill flick you some pics if i get the chance of the one opend up for rebuild/ restore.

YOu got anythign to swap ?  looking for YZA derived stuff ( even some DT, MXB bits )and 2 valve jawa ATM ( long track frame specifically)

i think i have a complete motor in the shed, I will confirm tomorrow. $250 plus postage or you can collect at MR VMX comp.

No. Different barrel (and head) stud spacings.

MX360 and SC500 interchange (but not 250 and 360/500).

Hi Martin,

I have not had any luck at all!... in finding a SC500 , Top end or Engine.

The SC500 has 6 studs for bolting the cylinder base to crankcase base/gasket surface.
I don't think they interchange with a MX360.
