-
As long as Grant Denyer crashes out I don't care who wins
-
I'd like bathurst alot more if they were more production cars like they used to be waters just hit a wall.
-
What a great last 20 laps, was some great driving from Tander when Lowndes applied the blow torch.
-
There's a reason they call it The Great Race. Never disappoints.
Had to chuckle at the 2 time loser I saw on the road this evening. He was driving a Ford with a Collingwood FC member sticker on the rear window! ;D
-
I love it ;D

Thought this was fitting way to see how far motor racing has come via safety aspect :o

There had to have been quite a few fatals in that video, those early open wheelers seemed to launch the drivers out very easily
-
frosty .... 2012 should see changes, allowing other manufactures to enter.

but they will still be essentially the same cars with different badges like they are now.

From what I've read it was considered preferable back then to be flung out than be trapped in the car and burnt.

ie nonsense cars... I am amazed anybody bothers to watch.
-
I'm still a Holden HSV or Ford SV type person..so long as it's a V8 it's cool 8)
-
I watch it for the drivers too because to be going as hard as they do lap after lap doing very close to the same lap times for so long is pretty amazing.
-
what a great intro to Bathurst this year ,Sure brought a tear to my eye.Love this race ;D
-
Notice how Ch7 has had to pixelate the Marlboro and Winfield signage on everything. Sure will be close at the front, a lot of things have to go right on one day to win this race.
-
I'm going for Lowndes to win.
-
Love all the old footage and the legends in their old cars doing laps.
Be good to see Lowndes win..
-
Garth Tander

After doing a lap during cd9 tour, along with the Victorians and South Aussies watching it on the big screen at MX today, puts a whole new meaning on fast cars at Bathurst. :P
-
watch the last 10 laps Bathurst has turned into sprint to finish every year
-
They say there is 207,000 people at the track. :o
That would have to be the biggest crowd for a country motorsports event in Australia. :P
-
I dont like bathurst ( or any car racing for that matter ) but that was a great finish :) 8)
-
Alison, thats the whole week not just today.
