Great photo. Certainly does look like Fishermans Bend.

The bike is definately a Norton. Do you know the rider's name?

I helped a guy out on the weekend swung on his norton s2 ? speedway outfit. shat my pants as it had heaps of touque and not much to hang onto, and th eold bugger kept wanted it to go faster.  i think the pre war BSA with supercharge next to us brought in the red mist.  These silly old buggers gonna get me killed one day.

I keep telling the bride " It's me blood, I can't help it", they had some stones on them back in the day, but pop did like a drink (only on days that ended in Y he told us). The riders name was Dave Powell Jasper and the safety gear was top knotch too :o  Mum is trying to find more of  the ole boy.
