Title: Polishing anodising.
Post by: ola_martin on October 05, 2011, 11:15:21 pm
I have a set of good Suzuki RM -77 wheels. The rims are anodised silver, they're going on a bike with a plated frame, so I'd like to polish them shiney. Is it possible get this result with the anodizing on, or wil it need to be removed first?

No you'll have to remove the anodising .

Just jumping in here  ::)

I have a related question -- I have a set of 1977 KTM rims -- they are "Sun rims" and they would have been anodised originally but now they are really dull -- can I get them re-anodised?

And, anybody know where in Melbourne they can be anodised?

Thanks
