My budget Scott's don't seem to keep the dust out of my eyes :'( :'(. Very important when you do a lot of following of other riders around dusty tracks ;D ;D The seals do not appear damaged...just don't work very well. What goggles do people recommend for dusty conditions. What features seem to work best? Thanks

What features seem to work best?
keeping your eyes closed?
The Oakley O frame goggles I have seem to work fine, and I'm definately not out in front and dust free

keeping your eyes closed>
Ah that's what I have been missing all this time......explains a lot actually...thanks Mainy ::)

The better Scotts seal better than the cheap ones.
There was an old trick of using veggie oil on the foam, but I've never tried it, and haven't heard of anyone doing it recently. Could be worth a try, though.

Pro- Grip googles ;)

I've used them all and I keep coming back to Oakley

Now here's an idea. I must have a smaller head than most 'cause I find most goggles too big and so I wear youth goggles as they fit my face shape much better and fit in my helmet better too.
The only problem I have is that the roll-off systems don't fit on the youth goggles and I have to go back to tear-offs. With the number of kids/youths racing I would have thought someone would make a roll-off system to suit them but apparently not.
Get down to a shop and fit 'em on PEZ.

I've got Smiths but still get stones in my eyes even when out in front [ Trail riding ].
When I was racing my RM80 big wheel I found dragging my feet [ enduros ] helped share the dust around ;D
The 80 made no dust so to be fair ;)

I'm with D.C., pro grip goggles are excellent, the pair i have were the top range model when brought 9 or so years ago, they are still going strong except for the strap has lost it's tension ,they have very thick foam were they sit on your face, all of the name brand goggles should be good, but different brands will suit different faces & some helmets also prevent the frame sitting on your face properly,if you can ,take your skid lid into your fav bike shop & try on a few pairs if they will let you to see if they sit right on your face,They should completely seal all the way round onto your face,I have never tried it but baby oil rubbed onto the vent foam is supposed to keep dust out :)
All this talk of baby oil & sitting on faces has got me thinking i may be on the wrong forum :o

Scott - with no sweat foam and anti scratch lens, they seem to match perfectly with the "Arai Vx helmet
