Hi, I am trying to get an enquiry to Al Buehrer of "Penton Parts USA" but his email bounces and his fax does not receive, anybody know if he's still around or if he has moved?
Any other suggestions for all gaskes and bearing and seals and ring etc for a 74 250 motor "freshen up"?

Al Buehrer doesn't really have that much stuff I've found.

Thanks for the site ref' -- had a look -- crikey they's trying to get the Euro debt crisis solved ::)
I will still try Al, because what I can get from him should be a saving, I will try and phone him tonight, good excuse to stay up late in the shed ::)
Do you know where I can download a parts catalogue for my 74 model, because if I'm ordering parts from the SDI people in Europe I would want to be certain as to correct part -- because some of their listings just have a number and no model No. -- like piston rings.
Thanks

I got some parts including a gasket kit from Al about 8 weeks ago and all was good, my email isnt opening for some reason but when it does I will confirm the email I used.
Also try http://www.enduroklassiker.at/index.php?mid=1&PHPSESSID=6966269816b50e02eda2320dd3fdcd49 (http://www.enduroklassiker.at/index.php?mid=1&PHPSESSID=6966269816b50e02eda2320dd3fdcd49)
Have got some stuff from him, heaps cheaper and quick delivery.
Cheers

I too had parts from both Al and Andre turn up last week.
Make sure email is correct fro Al : [email protected]
Can't say i'd be in a rush to by from old dr.2stroke way too expensive. I would have to be very desperate, or just won the lotto. But he does offer a service, and if NOS parts are your thing, then fair enough.

Thanks to all, have got on to Al, he has almost all that I need and took the time to answer all my Q's and add in some advice, on checking his prices the only part where he is dearer is the gasket kit -- but not by much -- every other part a little and some a lot less cost particuoarly the crang brgs and the rod kit, his postage quote seems ok as well.
The email to him worked from my home computer -- but not from work, may be the tight security system at work -- a bit beyond me that is.
Also,
1 -- does anyone know if the 175 motor from 75 has the same gearset as the 250 motor from 75?, if so there is a cheap gearset on Ebay
2 -- does anyone know who in Melbourne can do some good machining work to put steel sleeves in a Magnesiumn KTM hub where the bearings are a bit loose?
