Ive found on ebay wiseco pistons for an RM100T 51.5mm,thats 1mm bigger than the largest Suzuki factory oversize.Does anyone know if you can bore the cylinder out that much?
My cylinder is on its last rebore and has a couple ridges in it,but if i could go to 51.5mm, i dont have to try and find another one.

I would have thought if wiseco make em that big you must be able to :)

my guess is the RM100 cylinder could probably be bored out 2mm+ if needed. Someone with the RM100's like Rocketfrog or Mario should be able to tell you but 1.50mm over isn't that much..of the circumference only 0.75mm of metal is removed to achieve 1.50mm oversize. Just check the pin size of the kit as that's where the difference lay between the early B/C and later N/T/X models. 16mm pin is B/C and 14mm pin is N/T/X.

Thanks,i didnt know about the different pin size on early models.Yeah probably makes sense if that make em that size.

Most Wisecos go to +2mm and there is usually even room to go bigger if you can find a piston to suit from something else.

My IT250 is good for 70mm with wiseco pistons from a standard bore of 68mm,the biggest size genuine Yamaha pistons go to is 69mm.
cheers Dale.

Thanks Chris..i am useful after all :D
I just measured my 100X cylinder which is @ 50.25mm bore and there is 4.44mm of meat left in the liner.
So i'd say 2.0mm o/s is a breeze.
cheers..Mario
