Title: JETTING INFO FOR 38MM CARBY TT500 XL350 1973/74 CR250 CZ400

hi
would like jetting specs for petrol using 38mm mikuni
 tt500 yamaha
xl350  honda
1973/74 cr250 honda
cz400
i have a formula to convert petrol jets to methenol
this was given to me by a engine tuner that converts gsx1100rs to methenol for speedway use

Running a 36 mm Mikuni on my XT runs same spec as my old 38mm.

Main 230

Pilot 35

P2 needle jet

6FJ4/7 needle

36mm on my 500 runs

2.5 slide
210-230 main
30-35 pilot
6F9 needle
Needle jet P6-8 (159 series) I had a jetting article a few years ago that recomended 159 series needle jets for four strokes.
It didn't explain why...................

My xt ran lean on methanol till I put a one eighth drill through it, bingo purrrfect! Cheers pancho
