Just went for a stroll through the for sale section & noticed an add for a supposed GMC frame. Just wanted to say it's not one of mine. All my frames are stamped with GMC & a number on the headstem.
Not sure what it is. Looks a bit like a Zed frame but the engine mounts on the front downtube look too high up. Also the rear loop usually needs to be kicked upwards, not flat like the one in the for sale section.
One of my CMS replica's,

I have made 26 CMS replica's and only No 1 & 26 stayed in Aus.

The ultimate form of flattery: Your product name is the universal name by which all similar products are known.
So like Laminex, Round-Up and Contact, you're a legend! :)
Seriously, this is the frame I spoke to you about ages ago (I doubt you recall the conversation - I hoping you could help identify its origins and was meant to send you pics, but haven't actually been back to take them). The current owner thinks it was originally built for a CZ engine, but it's been hacked a bit to take an XL350 (or maybe 250?) motor.
Beautifully built frame. I briefly considered buying it to put a Yamaha motor in, but a combination of factors meant that I CNBF.

Wow , that frame looks great , do you or could also make Metisses?

Walter just yesterday (02/03/08) I had the pleasure of calling in to GMCs home business and yes I saw frames in production of superb quality and technical design, not to mention the intricate exhaust pipes too. As a third party I can see Metisse type frames could be produced without any loss of the mystique of the originals. Geoffs a bloody friendly bloke too, but as he has stated elsewhere a bit time poor ;) Tim

I prefer to think of myself as infamous ;D
Sorry I only vaguely remember the chat about the frame. It probably didn't stay with me as it didn't sound like one of mine.
Walter, I have been asked before about Metisse & Cheney frames (& many others) but I'm not really interested in treading on toes trying to make something that's already available. I have plenty of my own ideas of things to reproduce.
Have to go now, I'm jigging up for a state of the art aircraft grade 4130 Cro-Mo pre 80 postie bike chassis. ;D ;D

Ah come on Geoff. Who says your not famous. You are obviously raking it in, how else could you afford to sponsor the Australian MotoGP last year.
That shed that you proclaim you work from is obviously a front, probably for some kind of huge underground bank vault.
Don't worry your secret is safe with me!!!
VMX42
P.S. you wouldn't have any passes for this years MotoGP would you? I would love to see Casey make Valentino cry.

One of 3 of my underground vaults,

At $3.00 per 600 ml I'm a multi millionare
I only have free tickets for GMC workshop tours.

i lke the killer guard sheep, heas in the air - always on partol !

They're actually killer guard goats, the only thing known to keep killer koala's at bay.
If the killer Koala's get past the goats then we high tail it onto that thing in the dam because it's a well known fact killer koala's can't swim.
