Nice lookin' old grid , Red
For some reason , I've always liked the Flathead Ks and am amazed at the power and speed that was gotten out of them on Dirt Track and Road-Racing as well, 135mph and more in one article I read about them.

Sweet bike!
Anyone who doubts the competition potential of a sidevalve KR Harley surely wasn'y at the last two Broadford Bonanzas and witnessed the rocketship KR flat tracker (replete with flying ducks on the tank ;D)doing laps of the dirt track. I had a brief ride up the street of Marsh Runyons KR tracker a few years ago and fell in love with the big lumps of torque. I think Yamaico Pete had a ride on the same bike at a different time. Cool bike.

I thought you were talking about your new avatar at first. Does your missus know you're sneaking around the house with a camera?

Hey, that looks like my missus, 20 years ago maybe. :-\
Great bike, they had a fantastic sound.

Dave Durell rode a very well prerared KR at DuQuoin while I was there, loud and fast, sounded as if it was revving pretty hard, beautiful thing.
