Description: i'm looking for a good 2nd hand pair of modern dirt bike foot pegs for a project bike (1952 BSA scrambler), would prefer a set with springs still on them
Price: $60 or under including postage?

Don't know about your mounting situation, but there are plenty of decent chinese ones on Ebay quite cheap (like $30 delivered).  What are the mountings on the BSA ?.  Pit bike pegs are cheap too and usually come with springs  :-\

Post a picture of the brackets and I assure you someone one here will get you new ones with change from your $60  ;)

i've got a set of the standard BSA footrests which have been snapped and tacked back together so i figured i might as well cut the clunky footrests off and modify the tube to fit whatever dirt bike pegs i can find, much like this Goldie scrambler i saw at the Broadford Bike Bonanza

If you are going to make up brackets you could get something like this  :-\

Shouldn't take an engineering genius to rig up something to accept these ??

I can't seem to find the cheapies at the moment, but I'll keep looking

Doesnt GMC in Victoria on this forum make up blanks and you just- fit your own ??

Been buying the same one in your picture from China $23 inc postage, got them on heaps of my bikes and they are great, cast so you can cut them and  weld if needed to fit inside your own bracket, i use Go cart pedal return springs and they fit and work perfectly, snapping shut ;D

I think they are sold as a copy of the YZ and RM, either way the are the shizzle, not to grippy so they cut up your boot sole.

Also wide enough to be comfy but still allow boots to flex and change gears etc.

I dont think you can get better than them ones for the price, so why waste you time on Second hand peg either.  THis guy has all short of them and with differant fittings, smaller style ones are only $15 delivered !!!!

cheers lads for the reply, i've been given a set of near new pegs off a CRF for free, so many people write off MC riders as grizzly thieves and daredevils, no one ever mentions the camaraderie or mateship, personally I can't speak highly enough of fellow MC riders, ta! -Nick
