Looks like a '73 or earlier Jack-Piner frame with some '75 Enduro parts on it. ???
-
Because of the front forks I would say it's 75 , 76 /77 had leading axle front forks. Some enduro 76 models had those forks as well.
-
I was looking at the curvature of the front, lower frame tubes. I have a '73 Jack-Piner frame I was going to use for a Franken-Bike and it is more "swoopy doopy" than the 74-77 250 frames.
;D

Frame is pre 1974..top shock mounting modified/ laid over.....engine is Sachs....too much of a bitsa for me..
-
My take is its a 1974 125 as the last of the Sachs motored 125s came with 7 inch 35mm Cerianis as this one has and the frames had the top shock mount laid down as this one has. This frame also carried over with the first of the KTM 125 engines. You will see photos of the first KTM 125 with a similar frame but maybe with a different swingarm.

Thanks for opinions, I think my BSA wants those forks.
Why its always me who finds smallest bikes??
-
I picked front end of it.
I think it was samekind frame as here http://www.pentonusa.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12880
Are these front brakes any good for heavy four stroke Bsa b50?
when did this "new" style ceriani came to market? same as on the red KTM up there
-
Yep same frame. See the 4 12 for the frame number. Made in Dec 1974.The newer 35mm Cerianis came out on the first of the 250s in 1973 and then filtered down to the rest. The forks on the red GP framed 250? (because it has a red tank) are 8 inch 35mm ones as there is the gusset for the brake torque arm lug and the bottom of the leg is thinner than the 7 inch ones. Brake is ok but YZ one would be better.

You see what I ment about these small bikes... http://www.nettimoto.com/sachs/xtc/1210866

This I could take to my bedroom ;D after makeup
or couldthis be even 250?
-
Most likely sachs 125 motor as per first Pentons.
