Re the F plastics, if he wants oem he'd have more luck finding yellow ones from the US. Otherwise there's DC

depending how much money he wants to spend he can get a new YZ250 (fits 465) tank from Xtreme YZ in the US.

I have one on my 250.  Fits well and is actually white.  Very minor shape variation from the 250, but miles off the Euro 465.

he has a 250 Tank on the 465 and it does fit well, he wants the 465 tank on to make the bike original.

The f plastics are unique to that model and a bit intricate, especially the airbox lid. I'd seriously recommend buying a yellow one and painting it.
He can then be riding the bike while he waits a couple of years for a white one to turn up under a pile of rocking horse poo.
