That's nice, those old monoshock 400s were neat things in their day. It's funny how there are a million XT/TT500s around, but you rarely see a DT250/400D/E/F. That said, there's a guy round here who rides a bone-stock DT250E to work every day.

Nice bike Trev....We had an similar DT400 on the farm a few years ago and that bike had the highest fun for buck ratio of anything we've owned before or since. I reckon the DT/MX400 engine is one of the best in dirt bike history......I love 'em.

yep, nice work Trev. My bro had one of those many moons ago but his was yellow. I only ever rode it on the street and it was a real cruisy ride 8)

Thanks for the coments guys, it's a real step back to when my wife and I were in our late teens ( 30 years ago)and cruising the forests, I look back now and it was a bit of a laugh, I would make her walk up all the hills and she still married me, 27 years today of marriage and I gave her the bike today. She said I looked like Steve McQueen, no helmet riding down the street, yeah baby!!!!!!
