We have had best looking flattracker, best looking MXers and a few other topics from the good old days, but what about the music??
It would be interesting to hear the favourite bands/singers of the members, whether it be from years gone by or up to date sounds.
Ya dont have to list them in any order but maybe keep it to your top ten ;D , if you have to include the sound of your own bike so be it. ;)

Back in the day I switched from loud to mellow depending on the mood...
The loud ones:
Jimi Hendrix
Black Sabbath
Led Zeppelin
Slade
Deep Purple
The moody and the mellow:
Pink Floyd
Bob Dylan
Neil Young
Cat Stevens
James Taylor
and somewhere in between (not really fitting either label) were 'The Doors'.

Hmmm... I think most of my favourite stuff is already covered. But I also liked and listened to
Uriah Heep
The Angels
Foreigner
REO Speedwagon
Just had a look through the old vinyls and found some strange stuff in there like
Dexies Midnight Runners
The Flying Lizards
Starcastle
Hawkwind
But if I go back to when I was say 15-ish which is about 1974-75, I was listening to a lot of Suzi Quatro, Kiss, Heep, Purple, Sabbath and stuff like that.
Finally, for no reason I can pick, the one song that sticks with me from around the mid-late 70s is Return to Fantasy by Uriah Heep.
And I still think Queen was great...

yup I too have a bit of everything and shite loads of old albums and 45's from the 70's and 80's. Deep Purple, Led Zeplin and Status Quo to Jim Croce, Rodriguz and Cat Stevens (Islam Yousev or whatever he prefers these days). Oh and Blue Oyster Cult as well! For me at about 16/17yo it was mainly The Angels, Radio Birdman, Sunnyboys, Radiators etc..mainly pub bands though I was not really a drinker much to my utter dismay. These days I still like my alternative upbeat punkish type stuff but eh..I can easily go for someone modern like Fergie too ;D

I have over 80 Gigabytes of songs in my "My music" folder ranging from AC/DC to ZZ top. I downloaded (using bit torrent) almost my entire catalog of CD's and audio casettes and with my XBOX360, networked to my computor, I can turn it into a juke box through my TV's surround sound system ;D ;D ;D ;D

The Angels, now their is a band that rocked. I saw them at a rock festival here called Sweetwaters back in about 1980, 4 days of rockin' and drinkin'..
The lesser known bands (pub bands) now those were the days.
Of course the local kiwi bands wud do the tours, the likes of DD Smash, Dance Exponents, The Dudes, Hello Sailor, Dave McCartney and the pink Flamingoes, Banshee Reel; and then there were the defectors to Oz like Mi Sex, Dragon and didnt Sharon O'Neal go there too.
You guys had some great bands too, Flowers(Icehouse), INXS, Men at Work.
To many to mention, but if there was ever a concert with all the bands named here, well what a party ;D
-
The Jam
The Clash
Style Council
Ian Dury and the Block heads.
Pablo Cruise
Dave McCartney and the Pink Flamingos
Graeme Brazier and the Legionares
Hello Sailor
and to be different, Glenn Millar and anything swing.
Hey DJ, if memory serves me correct, did you realise that The pink flamingos, hello sailor and The legionares were all basiaclly the same band?
