Title: nats plate numbers

hi guys , can someone clear this up for me . plate numbers for the nats this weekend in the pre 75 class we have read somewhere as the X is to be added on the left before the plate number eg.  X1
when we have recieved our entries back they were listed with the X to the right of the plate number eg.  1X
which is the correct way if there is one ?

The left side, 50mm high, upper case, same colour as race number. MOMS 18.4.1, Page 163

thanks mate found it in the book , i guess MSA stuffed up when they sent out the numbers :)
