Title: Bultaco Model 135 Forks

I went to install some 18 1/2 inch (470mm?) long springs in my Model 135 forks and thought that I would need some pre-load spacers, but the springs actually stuck out of the forks 15mm or so.  I ended up with the forks having too much pre-load.  I always thought the 18 1/2 inch spring fit the model 120, which had an inch less travel.

Was I mistaken or is there something fishy going on?  :)

My M103 springs measure 16" but they are a little sacked out.

And after 40 years, god knows if they're the correct forks. Could be MK8??? it was a common mod I'm told.

Follow up question:  What is the actual travel of the Model 135 forks?  I assumed 8 inches, but I think it may be less.
