Title: Yamaha RT1 Tank Emblem, hand made from solid gold
Post by: firko on September 01, 2011, 04:19:27 pm
Well not really but the seller seems to think it is. $265 for just one badge plus $150 for the pleasure of mailing it to Australia. That makes it $415 for just one side of the tank $830 for both! I bought two sets when they were $100 a pair and thought I'd paid too much. This blokes in for the kill but I don't think anyone would be that stupid to pay so much....or would they?

I dont understand the business models some of these ebay stores use either Firko.
You see the same stuff for sale endlessly. Maybe it's a big fish mentality the thrill of the big catch is more important than making money.
I have a piston that's been on watch list for over 12 months I dont really need it now but it's a 1mm over for my 77 KTM. I have made offers $50.00 under his buy now price only to get a rude reply.
