Title: 85 yz 250 PARTS BIKE

Missing barrel and pipe
forks rusty between trees
shock seems good but bump stop gone
rads are pretty hammered

top end gasket kit

Hmmm..me too. Would an IT464H engine fit?
exhaust post will bugger you up.  Think it would bolt in otherwise?

exactly what i was thinking :)
but not sure about the "IT464" motor ;D
or the
exhaust "post" ;D
i have too much on my plate already and after a few quotes to get the bike to Brisbane {which were reasonable} i think i'll go to plan "B"
which is to ignore it and save the cash :(

I wasn't sure where the exhaust came out on the water cooled Yamahas...the twin downtube frame might have given me a clue though ::)

It looks like an 85 model (56a) to me....disc front end and 85 ignition module.....

i'm confused  ( as usual) just had alook on bike pics, some 84 model show 2 piece l/h side cover others 1 piece
which is correct
or do the 84-85 air box /side covers interchange
