Can anyone recommend an aftermarket exhaust and muffler for a YZ125G?and where/who from.And if one is fitted does the bike have to be re-jetted /tuned?Also is there a good bike mechanic/tuner in brisbane anyone know of?Thanks

Ring GMC, he's on the forum, makes trick exhausts......what sort of work do you need doing?

Proform also make a nice pipe for the 125G and you can get them locally via;

DG don't make them anymore but DJ managed to get one that was made back in the 80's;

Thanks for the info guys-will check out those options.In regard to the engine work I've almost finished restoring my 125G it has taken a few years.I never rode it when I first bought it-so I don't know how it will go.I've kicked over a few times starts pretty good-bit smokey and oily round the exhaust.Just thought I'd get a mechanic to look it over in regards to tuning/jetting etc.before I took it out on the track.
Woody that's a nice looking YZ-can I ask where those cool looking fork seal protectors came from?I don't have fork boots on mine.

Hi Mick
that nice looking YZ actually belongs to DJ from NZ. I have one I'm working on that's taking me forever to complete. I'd try the Vintage Iron Retro Rocket pipe. They can probably help out with jetting specs as well.
cheers
