Check the IT 250 I scored in a swap for a carton of piss...
To be honest I insisted on handing over a carton - it's the accepted blokey thing; am I right?
I'm not sure of the year/model but I'll post the frame/engine numbers in the hope someone can advise.
It looks like a pig but it starts after two or three kicks - and just about everything is there.
The plastics have been painted dark blue - by brush I think.
There's an old thread here somewhere on tidying tired plastics so I'll be chasing that one.
Hey Brad, do you have any IT plastics in your stash; side cover, front plate?

Good one Wombat. Australia could trade with the world on the 'Carton of Piss' principal! I'm no IT expert but it appears to be a 77/78 first model 250. The experts will soon put a proper dating on it I suspect!

VB Gold was his request...
and thanks for the info and those ebay links; I'm one of those rare creatures NOT listed with ebay - but perhaps I should take the plunge?
The 326 Maico I bought from Big K was on ebay - I 'phoned a friend (an ebay tragic) and asked she place the bid for me!
I'd be stretching the friendship if I asked she track and bid on multiple bike parts...
You know what I love about the 250? I can remain seated and pump the kick starter in normal shoes.
The 326 requires an MX boot - and respect!!
