You would think TMB would put wheels on so he didnt have to carry it. ;D
An RH250 using TMB as a bike stand.

The white building behind TMB looks suspiciously like an asylum?
-
I look a bit stunned i was trying to sneek off with the RH all quiet like when security arrived :-[ Safe to say the RH is safely back in the Asylum and trespass notices have been issued :(
Seriously though that is the 74 RH 250 that was recently on trade me and also on a thread on this site.
The new owner has had the frame repaired and the shock mounts put back to their original positions by the same bloke who did the suspension mods in 1975 and he really has done a 1st class job 8)
Chamber has been all but replaced , and the motor and wheels are currently being rebuilt . if all goes to plan it will be ready for the Wanganui Classic at Easter.
Rumour has it the bike is going to make an appearence at Classic Dirt :)

I'm thinking he's had a few beers and half a mongrel in the trousers - but couldn't find a sheep... ;)

Bill.....Is that the bike Peter Ploen rode back in the day? I heard he is coming over for CD5. What do you know?
The look on your face tells us that you sphincter may be about to do a runner ! :o
-
Gidday Firko , i believe this bike was raced in the day by Phil Turnbull. I stand to be corrected though.
I dont know if Peter is coming to CD5 i have not seen him for a while , the word is he has been working offshore.
I will see what i can find out , Your right about the sphincter the RH is a lightweight but so am i ;D

Actually this is Bill after being dropped off by the ambulance outside Taupo hospital..I bet now you wished you'd let the frame cool before handling it Bill :o surgical removal is quite painful I believe :D
on a side note..where's all the other factory or works bikes from the land of the rising sun..I've not heard of any excepting the extra good yella ones but luckily they still get ridden ;)
