Does anyone have jetting specs for a 36mm Mikuni for a 1970 CR400? The jetting was ok before I pulled it down but i can't read the numbers on the main or needle jets. Would like to get new jets in the correct range.
Thanks
Duane

Will the 38mm Mikuni jetting specs close to the 36mm Mikuni jetting specs?

Logic would be that the 36 would require leaner jetting than the 38, if you started at the 38 spec provided then it would be a safe starting point. I was advised this by a motorcycle mechanic when messing around with a 32 and 34 mm mikuni on a RM125. Will be interested if others agree on the principal. Maybe just consider using a 38 anyway...

If somebody has a Mikuni 36 on a 400 and can give us the gen, that'd be great as I too have a 36 sitting waiting to be plugged onto my 400... :D

Thanks for the info. Will put up the jetting specs for the 36mm when its sorted.
