At mate of mine has a CR250 73 model with some gear shifting probs,
The gear shift shalf was bent so we replaced that, it made it a bit better but not right.
He has a MT250 75,76 model spare gear box, he was woundering if the internal gears shalfs etc... are interchangable with the CR one.
He wants to rebuild the CR gear box with new parts he can get, and if he can use the good bits from the MT box if he needs any bits that made
be good....I realise the CR250 have gear box probs but worth a try ...cheers mick

only the shafts and 3rd gear is the same the parts will fit but road trail ratios not good enough for race bike.try all the shift parts should be the same you can under cut the gears and this will stop it jumping out os gear

later model gearboxes (76?) are supposed to fit and are supposed to be stronger!
