Post by: John Orchard on August 10, 2011, 04:07:43 pm
Hey Guy's,

Looks like I'm purchasing an RM125B, it needs a few parts if you could give me any leads I would appreciate it.  The parts that I think I'll need initially are ....

Fuel tank (would RM125A be the same?)
front guard
rear guard
L & R frame sidecovers
front numberplate
seat complete
original muffler
levers & lever perches
all cables
throttle assy
sprocket cover
footpegs
airbox
original handgrips

Thanks for any tips  :-)

Consider vintage suzuki for the plastics... they did have some nice nos side covers for A model. thier fenders are nice and shiney too. I think les fom mainley maico should have some of this stock too

Yes Vintage Suzuki is the go for the plastics, they also have genuine NOS Suzuki sidecovers in stock for the 125 A & B.
The tanks are the same on the A & B. Original mufflers are very hard to find, check ebay US for all the other bits.

This guy makes a muffler. Hes one of the nicest guys around to deal with, 100% trust worthy and will go out of his way to try and help you. Almost nothing is impossible for him to make. I highly recommend him. You can also find him on all the yahoo suzuki forums. He also makes other things like brake torque arms and brake pedals for early RM's

Here is some of RCM's latest work. Reproduction billet Fox Factory Fork triples. He had a customer who had a set of Fox forks but was missing the triples and needed some made.

These are the first prototypes. If your interested in a full set or just need some different bar mounts with a different offset then contact RCM and he will give you the run down on costs.

(yes stem is not pressed in yet)
