Title: Crank seals
Post by: Freakshow on August 10, 2011, 12:42:11 pm
Any one got a heads up on these cranks seals, they must also be in another yamaha model but its got me stuffed as they are not the nromal 30/62/10 style from the Dt , mx etc

im sure it was a #450 motor DT3 but the crank seals are smaller than all the other motors i have from that time even another #450 stamped donk

the seals i need are 30-55-10   and i think the other was larger likek 30 -70- 10. i manage to buy 2 off the shelf at the bearing place so its a normal size other than theses ones i got are 7mm and dont have the same red coating on the crank side. So i dont think they would take over 5 psi on the lips

surely its the same as another yammmy model, does any one recognise the sizes ?  mine had air gap nodules on the outer face to so they might mic out to 12mm but you get the idea
