This is a bit of a good find. It's an original Don and Derek built frame from the mid sixties, the engine is the rare as rocking horse shite 650cc TR6 SC (scramble) model that has close ratio gears made purely for the American desert racing market. It's also got a 'holy grail' ACK clutch cover and to be a bit different has an alloy tank. I don't know what the reserve is but with the 'trouble' the US is going through right now, it might just be a real bargain. It's a 10-12k bike in good times, let's see what it goes for in the troubled economy.

No Graeme ;D but coincidentally I know the seller, I didn't realise it until I'd already posted the link.
I've bought Maico stuff from him in the past and he's an up front guy. He's got a bargain ATK 406 for sale for $1000 as well. If I wasn't over extended on imports right now I'd be considering  it.
