As the title states. I'm restoring a PE250 for racing and in need of swingarm bearings. I had ordered a set from Canada via ebay and just went to install them and they are the wrong size. Any help greatly appreciated!

Look for a part number on the bearing. They should be available from a bearing shop. I know the 80 onwards ones are just a plain IKO needle roller and can be bought from a bearing shop. If that fails you can always order them as a Suzuki Genuine part, but one thing i can tell you is that with the late model PE250 bearings they are cheaper as a aftermarket item than a suzuki one and they are the same identical IKO bearings from IKO Japan.

Unfortunately when I dismantled the bike the bearings were so deteriorated that there wasn't much left of them to find a part number on.
I have found a couple of sites showing microfiche diagrams with part numbers, but there seems to be 2 different part numbers for a 78 model.. So frustrating!

They should be suzuki p/n 09263-20021 and available from a bearing supplier like BSC. They are what's called a 20X28X25mm drawn cup closed end needle roller bearing. SKF list them.

Ahh, ok, I'll give that a try..
The ones I got last time were 09263-22022 which are a different size (they state they are for 78-79 PE).
Thankyou :)

yeh, for some reason they incorrectly list the 09263-22022 for '78-'79 PE250C/N but infact those bearings suit the RM250C2, RM400C, SP/DR370/400/500/650, LT230 quads and some roadies like the VS750 and 800 Intruders. ;)

Thanks for the help Doc.. Have ordered the correct bearings now!
Next problem - I can't find the swingarm thrust washers anywhere! Are there any other bikes that I could substitute from??
