Sweet Look at that Pipe after all these years

not dissimilar to my new project, and in much the same condition by the look of it. took delivery this morning
I don't think phil's got much if anything 2 stroke benelli any more. parts bare going to be interesting, but US ebay will be very helpful. Cosmo in the US had/have lots of NOS stuff, but they've been selling it off in job lots lately and it's then appearing regularly from various ebay sellers.
I think the down pipe's about 74/5 and the up pipe 76. I'll have to consult my Benelli book. I have a mate who bought one new as his first bike.

oops! the down pipe is the later, 76 as you say! mine has the up pipe (well sort of up, anyway) which makes it 73

Jonathons little Benelli lived in my shed for a few weeks after I brought it down from CD8 for him. Every time I walked past the little thing I'm sure I could hear the sounds of Dean Martin singing 'Volare' but it may have been my mind playing tricks...morphine does funny things to a blokes head 8). It's a weather beaten little peasant wog but anyone who knows Jonathon's work will know that it'll be a potential concourse winner once it's finished.

I have one in the back of the shed, only bought it for the wheels and forks but it is too good to break so is resting at the back of the shed ;D
