Title: 35 mm Betor forks oil level

Springs out and fully compressed,forks standard betor, working on 135mm from top of tube to top of oil level as starting point, no manual for VB250 seems to exist. Previous post by YSS on 35 mm Marzochi with PD fitted only 95 to 105 mm so not sure if not putting in enough oil :-\

Oil level is always measured from top of the fork, with fork compressed ( no spring )  ;)

Most 35mm Betors hold 6 1/2 oz per leg.  Later Montesa Betor's (black legs) used 7.6oz per leg.
The Montesa manual for the VB 250, which has 35mm Marzochi's say's 8.6oz (260cc) per leg.

whats 6 1/2 ounces in the real measurement ? 180 cc ?
