Checks diary for availability. I would really like to see Buladelah this year , doubtful i will get a ride but im up for it
-
Where is Buladelah ? I dont have bike I can race. Yet! Sure would like to go along even if im only as a looker.
-
Bulahdelah is about 2-3 hours north of Sydney. The track itself I'm not too sure about... I think you turn left just before Bulahdelah.
-
Yeah, the track's on the south side of Buladelah. Only a couple of minutes off the Highway.
Pokey, Quicky, if I make it up there, I'll bring an extra bike or two. And I don't want to hear an excuses about "but I've got a broken limb or "it's not a 185".
-
Cool Nathan, If I make it My boots will too 8)
-
Nathan....You for real mate? Or a joke?
-
For real. Woulda used a smiley or something if I was joking.
-
Mate. Charge your battery. ;D Tonight about 8pm i'll call ya.
-
Quicky Nathan is a good bloke I was at CD4 and my sons bike shit it self and Nathan gave the use of two of his bikes. It made my son Tom appreciate the weekend even more.
-
Don't forget that the 2007 CRC is now scheduled for Sat 18th + Sun 19th August. The track is looking great and there is already a big entry list including a few interstaters.
Remember, entries close 10/08/07. Find out more at the HEAVEN site:

Well as a true VMX virgin, I must say that was the most fun I have ever had! Met a great bunch of blokes (that own more bikes than me!!). Now just can't wait for the next one! Very well orgainised and the whole weekend went smooth. Bit of dust and a bit of mud to make thing interesting and great to see the old 2 dingers rapping around and that Yz250d sure was a sight to see in full flight.
-
Was different having blinding dust one day and 'grease mud' the next.Martin Russell was a fanstic sight on his 500 in the wet.Was a fun weekend. ;D
-
Yep, was a good 'un. :)
My Saturday racing sucked - the 125 DNFed with a shit in the carby (I think), and the 250 DNSed with a flat tyre on the start line, but Sunday was better. Once the track turned to consistant grease, I really enjoyed it. Coulda kept racing the 125 all arvo.
Big thanks to everyone who made it happen! :)
A few other high-lights/things/observations:
Fernando poisioning everyone. Again. Snowy and Dennis both seemed pretty seedy on Saturday morning, which didn't surprise me give the amount of sediment they drank... :-X
Riding Lozza's TS400 aka the supercharged school bus.
Riding Noel's CR125, and him later observing that "You didn't rev it very hard".
Getting into the Brands Race final on the 125 trail bike... More a product of good luck and over enthusiasm than anything else. Yes, I came last in the final.
Desperately trying to scrounge up a 13 or 14T Yamaha 125 front sprocket on Saturday, only to find the friendly old bloke with the Husky bits has a brand new one that he happily sold me for a whole $5. :)
"Let's go and hear about how Rossco won a race".
Rossco's big dopey grin on Saturday night, and even bigger dopey-er grin after winning the Ray Ryan Memorial trophy race on Sunday. Everyone I was standing with said pretty much the same thing as the race finished: "Wow, Rossco's won it! Awesome!" Then there was a brief pause and we all realised how much we were going to hear about it... :D Seriously, good work!
Rodney and Tracey - newbies with lots of grins and enthusiasm. Very nice people, and damn he can ride!
Neville's run-away win in the pre-70s on Saturday.
Putting friendly faces to names. :)
Not having my tent run over on Saturday night....
-

;D sure looks pretty i'm guessing there from saturday
there's just something about yellow bikes as well ;D ;D ;D
-
Fine speciman of the bloke holding up the Ray Ryan Memorial trophy, pretty sure it was Maicos one and two if memory serves me right, :D cant believe that someone would try and fill in with all that mud a shiny old bultaco with a late model Suzuki, what a low life ;D top weekend organised by heaven once again at buladelah, im sure that rosco character will remind you of his spectacular feat on a regular basis given the right opportunities :P :)
-
Top weekend ;D, big thanks to all the Heaven crew, weather conditions made for some exiting racing, Saturdays dust, and the liquid dust on Sunday. Some real fast blokes, pity thay were in my classes. Well done Rosco. See you all in Canberra.

Hi Noel,
Thanks for the kind words - and thanks to Captain Fisher (B-Rad) for building the Mk1 Pursang!
It was a hell of a lot of fun to ride, somehow it just seemed to suit me...
Here are a few photos of the "Legends" at the CRC.
The mighty Mk1 Pursang.

Nice pics Mark - thanks! :)
Noel's got the race face on!
Anyone find a pair of Oakley goggles? I lost them, which is bad, but the real problem is that they're actually my missus' and now I'm in a world of pain.
-
I heard that there was a good save by the fellow on the Maico,(31)
No it's not Rosco
