I am looking for an 1974 YZ80A airbox assembly or just the airbox case  Thanks

-
Im sure up to the E model there all the same

No Slackwell YZ80A airbox was close to a GT80 airbox, YZ80B/C used the same airbox, that was totally different and larger, YZ80D used its own plastic airbox, YZ80 C/D used the same airbox to carb joint ;)

				hi Dave
theres a gt80 at the local wreckers here so would the airbox help you out?
-
Thanks Matt, the GT80 airbox mounts the same and is the same shape but are different, I have a few Spare GT80 airboxs, need the original YZ80 type for a resto
 Cheers
 Dave

Hey Dave, you wouldnt happen to have a D airbox assy?  if so  a mate is in need of one.

-
Sorry Davey Crocket yes I do have one but that's on my YZ80D.

-
				That one will do. ;D

Don.t know if my B and C have there original air box,s but i think they are .There is a slight difference in the cover shape between the two,the depth of imprinted pattern i think. of course mine could be wrong.

wow , it has always amazed me what turns up NOS after so many years, especially things like an Airbox?

i managed to find a NOS 1985 CR500 oem muffler on a shelf at a Honda dealer in Bathurst 3 years ago. someone must have ordered one and never picked it up.

I got a NOS airbox for my YZ80A last year on Ebay in the US. If you keep looking something usually turns up.
