its just what i need to go on my 1958 ariel swing arm frame.its steel its not pre65 but pre 60 no good for you steve

My next question is, what is it made of?
It say's " Compy ", does that mean a competition tank or what it's made of.
Looking at the bottom it doesn't look like a steel tank to me.

that'd be a steel one, I didn't think there was a comp version of the B40?

The tank's steel Steve but I don't think it's a Compy...it looks like a normal road version to me.

Thanks gents, I thought maybe Compy was short for Composite, some sort of new fandangled material.
The add is short on detail but it's a good looker anyway.
I've got 3 B40's so I may find a use for it, one day.
So lay off you blokes, just kidding, I may not even place a bid.
Another case of kicking myself if I don't.
