Title: Manxalike rear hub
Post by: Marc.com on July 17, 2011, 05:53:12 pm: Just did a little work on the lathe this morning, you can really improve the British stuff just by making sure everything is bloody turned concentrically .... not sure what tolerance the Brits worked to from new. ::)

seems a shame it will all end up HPC black ala Manx,,,,, still better to start with machine finish than rough casting

I have all alloy pre unit engine so you should have the jump on Beeza Bill, target is weight reduction for both myself and the Triton. On the Harley a few mild steel brackets are not an issue, but this one we will be more fussy.

Its good to be King.... I just do it on the weekend. Yes Manx in the photo is example of genuine hub... but mine will look close.... or as close as my piggy bank will take.
