Title: 1966 ford galaxie
Post by: paco on July 17, 2011, 02:02:30 pm
I have a 1966 ford galaxie ambulance. The body work is straight and virtualy rust free.It has a 390 ci.Motor and a C6 gear box. This car had its motor and gearbox reconditioned and the body was painted. The owner of the car drove it for about 15000 miles and parked it in a shed for about the last twenty years. The bad points : We put a battery in it and some fuel down the carby and it started easily, however it would not keep running. Not pumping fuel. It has nothing in the way of brakes.I dont have a shed to keep it in and would hate to see it deteriorate.Oh and by the way;the car is in white cliffs western N.S.W and will need to be put on a trailer or truck.I am asking $3000.email [email protected]

Do you have any pics Paco??  Being an ex Ambulance is it tall enough to make a good bike transporter?

Hey Paul

I don't think I'll get the bikes in through the back door.  Well not without dismantling them first  ;D

Yeah,Simo,I think it would be a bit of a struggle getting a bike into the back;but then again I have put a suzuki SP 370 into the back seat of a gemeni coupe. Not in one peice though.G'day to Matcho. The fellow I got it off used to use it to sleep in when he went away .So maybe plan B would work.P
